The Orlando Sentinel 1993: “While International Dr is showing its age, the New Punjab is bright and clean. The preparations of authentic dishes here are stellar representations of one of the most exciting cuisines. The amazing part is the dishes are prepared the way you order them – mild, medium or hot. The meats are nicely marinated and cooked. My guests and I enjoyed a vegetarian dinner, chicken saag, variety tray appetizer, veg. samosa, lamb curry, and a yogurt drink Lassi w/Gulab jamun. It was a terrific meal. Service is friendly.”

The Ledger, Trent Rowe: “The New Punjab has some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The smell of food here is like no other in the food world. Nan bread is a big hit here, made fresh in a clay oven each time you order. They have great selections of breads. My Butter Chicken got four out of four votes. The lamb dish was a hit. Eggplant bharta and panir were done very nice.”

The restaurant, once opened, never looked back. The quality of food is strictly maintained by Singh family; all the chefs are trained to follow the recipes created by the Singh's, who believe in staying true to the original recipes to maintain authentic food. New Punjab specializes in catering all size events, in all big hotels around Orlando, Tampa, Melbourne, and other places.”
