The Orlando Sentinel 1993: While International Dr is showing its age, the New Punjab is bright and clean. The preparations of authentic dishes here are stellar representations of one of the most exciting cuisines. The amazing part is the dishes are prepared the way you order them – mild, medium or hot. The meats are nicely marinated and cooked. My guests and I enjoyed vegetarian dinner, chicken saag, variety tray appetizer and veg. samosa, lamb curry, yogurt drink Lassi w/Gulab jamun. It was a terrific meal. Service is friendly.
The cuisine of New Punjab is a delightful detour from everyday offerings of other restaurants and is an exceptional treat when all the food is so well prepared.

The Ledger, Trent Rowe: The New Punjab has some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The smell of food here is like no other in the food world. Nan bread is a big hit here, made fresh in clay oven each time you order. Have great selections of breads. My Butter Chicken got four out of four votes. The lamb dish was a hit. Eggplant bharta and panir were done very nice.
The four desserts we ordered worked out perfect Gulab jamun, Mango ice cream, Kulfi and Rasmalai, all of which are homemade. My family enjoys an Indian meal occasionally and the four of us were delighted with the quality and variety we found here. It is well worth four stars.
City Masala (Indian magazine): Jarnail Singh, Karnail Singh and Gurmail Singh opened this restaurant in 1988 continuing their family business of restaurant from back home PUNJAB (Phagwara).The restaurant, once opened, never looked back. The quality of food is strictly maintained by Singh family; all the chefs are trained to follow the recipes created by the Singh's who believe in staying true to the original recipes to maintain authentic food. New Punjab specializes in catering all size events in all big hotels around Orlando, Tampa, Melbourne and other places.
